Minecraft modifications, also known as mods, enhance gameplay and can bring to the game new and interesting dynamics. The numbers next to the Minecraft modifications let you know which versions of Minecraft these mods will work on. Many mods are supported on multiple versions. For example, if you are playing on Minecraft Version 1.10, then mods 1.10 will work for you. When they work on multiple versions you may see something like 1.10/1.9.4/1.10.2. These versions get updated frequently and when they do, that gets a number, such as 1.10.2.
There are many mods that work with the version 1.10. A few of these modifications include:
Audio Death Mod 1.10 (Also supports 1.9.4)
This mod actually lets you enhance how you die. Most mods enhance your building and gameplay. So, it is interesting to have a mod that focuses on how you die. It lets you upload an audio file that will play when you die. This can make it humorous, or even more engaging.
Eat The Eggs Mod 1.10
In Minecraft, you can find a lot of eggs. You can’t typically eat the eggs. You usually have to trade them. This mod actually lets you cook your eggs in various ways, such as scrambled or fried. This is ideal when you are hungry.
Graves Mod 1.10 (Supports 1.9.4)
When you die in the game, a lot of times you end up losing the items you are carrying. The Grave Mod will actually spawn a grave for you. This is not just one of those grave sites that has a headstone and no purpose. This grave will virtually hold everything you were carrying. It will hold these items indefinitely until you return to claim them. It’s a really cool mod.
Creeper Confetti Mod 1.10 (Also supports 1.9.4 and 1.7.10)
This doesn’t make any major changes in the game. However, creepers are sometimes annoying. This mod actually makes creepers look like confetti or fireworks when they explode. So it gives it a little bit more of a fun way to deal with them.
Expandable Backpacks Mod 1.10.2 (Supports 1.10 and also 1.9.4)
There are a lot of backpack mods out there. The expandable backpack includes many features that other mods don’t. This one adds colors and different compartments. It also allows you to store liquids as well. The compartments hold your items even if you die.
Heaven and Hell Mod 1.10.2 (Supports 1.10 and 1.9.4)
The Heaven and Hell mod gives you useful tools or items that are based on either Heaven or Hell. Some of the items include: Bluesilver, Holy Substance, and DaemonSteel. You can use these items in various way to craft things, etc. This mod is not very big right now, but there are plans to add new features.
Sleeping Bag Mod 1.10 (Supports 1.9.4)
This mod crafts a simple sleeping bag that can be carried with you throughout the game. You can use it to fall asleep anywhere and anytime. It doesn’t alter your spawn, so it won’t affect whatever exploration or adventure you are on.
We hope you enjoyed this post about the 1.10 mods. More mods will soon be featured as the Mod of the Month blog posts start up again. Are there any that like you’d like to read more about? Do you have any questions? Feel free to reach out to us at Support@EnviousHost.com.
